TUCSON, Ariz. (KOLD News 13) – The University of Arizona men’s and women’s golf systems will be receiving a new property at Tucson Region Club.
The university, Arizona Athletics and Tucson State Club arrived at an settlement to build a facility to act as house for both equally courses. The William M. “Bill” Clements Golf Center will be named in honor of philanthropist and local community icon Bill Clements who passed away in 1995.
The venture will include things like a laser-guided placing green, hitting bays, locker rooms, a scholar-athlete lounge and a clinical services space between other facilities.

The athletics office has exceeded the fundraising minimum amount of $10.5 million for the project, with a charge of $14.86 million, by way of the impactful providing of donors and method alumni, which include the naming present given by Ginny L. Clements.
